Sound Project Analysis
My sound project storyline initially intended to visualize the female character inside a taxi in a busy city. With elements of the car engine, honking, and construction, the sound's purpose was to mirror the busy city sounds like New York City. Requiring to pay, the taxi driver asks the female for 25 dollars. Proceeding to go outside, with her heel walking sounds, she makes her way to a club where she is asked for ID. After the approval from the bouncer, she enters the club and is surrounded by loud music and a crowded environment. Suddenly the police appear leaving the club in chaos.

My group members and I primarily agreed on the ideal storyline and listed possible sounds necessary for certain environments. Additionally, the foley sounds were key to the success of our project. Given the role to film and record, I performed the foley sounds of the heels walking and buckle of the seatbelt outside of school. During school hours we recorded the foley sounds of the wallet zipping and cash rubbing since these resources were easily provided.
Throughout the days, we added scene by scene of the follow-through. I started with a structured layout, recorded the necessary foley sounds that couldn’t be found through the computer, and then began the editing process. Each group member had their own talents, abilities, and resources, and the team worked collectively and bounced ideas off of each other.
